  • Uses mathematical optimization techniques to create visual artwork (domino mosaics, flexible Truchet-tile mosaics, map-colored mosaics, TSP Art, simple-closed-curve sculptures, loops, and labyrinths).

  • Member of the editorial board of the Journal of Mathematics and the Arts.
  • Co-chair of the program committees of Bridges 2012 and Bridges 2020 (Short Papers).
